St Ronan's Border Games News

CLEIKUM CEREMONIES 2010
This year the Cleikum Ceremonies will be held in the Memorial Hall and will be a ticket only event. This is due to the need to comply with Scottish Borders Council Health and Safety regulations which restrict the number of people who can occupy the Memorial Hall for such events.  Everyone in the hall must be seated. Tickets will be available free of charge at the Tweeddale Thrift Shop, High Street, Innerleithen on Saturday 3 July from 9am. They will be issued on a first come basis and will be restricted to four per person, hopefully allowing for individuals to obtain tickets for family members, friends or neighbours who are unable to get to the Thrift Shop while still maintaining fairness within the system. The Games Committee is aware that this change of system may cause disappointment or inconvenience and apologise for this but given the regulations there is no alternative.

GAMES WEEK BALL 2010
The St. Ronan’s Standard Bearer’s Ball will be held on Saturday 10 July in the St. Ronan’s Marquee.  Tickets cost £30.00 each and are available from Norman Scott, Foresters, Wells Brae, Innerleithen, tel. 01896 830621.  Full payment must be enclosed with a note of your exact requirements.  Maximum of twelve tickets per party and dress is strictly formal.  Cheques should be made payable to “St. Ronan’s Border Games.”
